1300 Through 1365 Series Lever Backs Installation Instructions
Some helpful tips when using our findings!
1300, 1350*, 1360*, and 1365 series lever backs
The white gold wire springs are permanently attached to the back. Avoid heating the spring as it may lose the spring temper and affect the function. When the lever back is used in our shop, we finish them with a laser. If you choose to rivet instead, be careful not to over tighten the joint as the friction will diminish the free movement of the back. When assembly, polishing and cleaning is complete, we recommend a small drop of light oil where the spring meets the cam.

1340* and 1345 series snap backs
These findings have no separate spring; they use the structure of the earring to lock the back to the post. To open the back, lift up gently on the end of the post to disengage from the back, the back should pop open. To close just squeeze the back and front the post should snap into place.
*1340 stone measurements: 10 round stones – 1.1mm each.
Remember 18kt pink gold requires special handling, it can crack un expectedly if heated and cooled multiple times.
